Jacob´s Basketball Hold had traded out of the first round in the 2005 MBA Draft, but still saw value in the second round, picking up forward/center Ike Diogu as the 10th overall and last player drafted this year.

Coach Jacob officially released retired Karl Malone to clear roster space for the draft.

Malone's fantasy career will be difficult to match. The cornerstone of the HungerDunkers expansion team from 1994 to 1999, Malone came to JBH in a trade to win 3 MBA championships.

Malone's fantasy career stats speak for themselves: 203 games, 200 starts (MBA record), 5207 FP (all time 2nd), 25.76 fppg (all time 5th), 4776 points (all time 2nd), 1276 free throws made (MBA record), 1930 rebounds (all time 4th) and more.

Malone was the fantasy league MVP in both 1996 and 1997, and a member of the All MBA First Team six times in 12 seasons.
