Ole's Overlords and Yavapai Swashbucklers have agreed to a trade that sends Jonathan Bender (F) to the Swashbucklers in exchange for Lorenzen Wright (F/C).

A high school player selected with the sixth pick in the 1999 MBA Draft, the now 20-year old Bender never played into the Overlords' rotation (1 game, -5 FP). A true project, Bender still has to fulfill his reportedly huge potential.

Lorenzen Wright, a 1996 2nd round pick by the Meaty Ogres, was traded to the HungerDunkers in 1999, but waived later that same season.

A free agent signing by the Yavapai Swashbucklers in 2000, Wright will now contribute to his fourth MBA team in Wales with the Overlords.

Wright has averaged a career unm. 15.2 fppg in 34 games, including 11.3 ppg, 8.2 rpg and a 50.0 field goal percentage.

Wright averaged 19.3 fppg in 8 games for the Swashbucklers this season, and has had his best year in 1997 with a 20.67 unm. fppg-average in 12 games for the Meaty Ogres.
