With the MBA trading deadline approaching in week 16, defending champions Naughty Koalas and conference rivals Yavapai Swashbucklers agreed to a trade involving two players and rights to swap draft picks. The Swashbucklers receive guard Jrue Holiday from the Koalas. In return coach Mads gets center Alex Len and rights to swap first round draft picks with the Swashbucklers in either 2016 or 2017. The rights to swap draft picks are conditioned upon both team's first round picks being outside the lottery (picks five through eight). If the Koalas haven't exercised the rights to swap draft picks in 2017, the team will instead receive the Swashbucklers' 2017 second round draft pick.
