With the sixth pick in the 2011 MBA Fantasy Draft, the Meaty Ogres selected forward Tristan Thompson. To clear room on the roster for the first round draft pick, coach Brian released forward Dorell Wright and center Chris Kaman. Wright was a free agent signing in 2010/2011 (2 games, 13.00 fppg) while Kaman leaves the team after two seasons with 28 games and a 19.14 fppg average on record.
