With only six of twelve roster players active for week 5's fantasy game due to injuries, Thisted Tigers Basketball became the first team in MBA history to need two free agent automatically added according the league emergency signing rule. The top two free agent players ranked by fantasy points average based on all NBA regular season games prior to week 5 were guards Andre Miller and Jason Terry.

Both players enter the Tigers' roster with a label as veteran and MBA journey man. Miller is a former Meaty Ogre and RimRockers, now playing in his 12th season. He has MBA career stats of 152 games with an average of 17.76 fppg. Terry has played for four teams in the MBA league, sporting career numbers of 97 games and a 16.92 fppg average.
