Free agent forward Danilo Gallinari has been signed by the Yavapai Swashbucklers for at least four games, signed to a contract lasting until and including week 8's fantasy round. In order to clear roster space for the transaction, coach 3M chose to waive offseason rookie signing, forward Tiago Splitter.

The 22-year old Gallinari was waived by the Naughty Koalas earlier this season (week 3). Now in his third season, he has appeared in just two fantasy games for career stats of 2 games (0 starts) and a 17.00 fppg average. Splitter was signed as an undrafted rookie prior to the season opening, but did not appear in any fantasy games for his stay with the team.
