MBA fantasy team Yavapai Swashbucklers have released forward/center Spencer Hawes. The team reached 13 active players in week 9's fantasy game, and one player had to be cut to stay within league rules. Hawes had been designated as first to go by coach 3M in advance, and leaves the team in his third season with a fantasy career average of 15.27 fppg in 11 games. He was drafted eighth overall in the 2007 MBA Draft by the Swashbucklers.
