HungerDunkers Team Home HUNGERDUNKERS SIGN CAMBY AND KIDD, RELEASE MURPHY AND JERMAINE O'NEAL
Free agents Marcus Camby (F/C) and Jason Kidd (G) have been signed by MBA fantasy team HungerDunkers for at least four fantasy games (weeks 7 through 10). To clear room on the roster for the two veteran player additions, coach Kenn chose to release Troy Murphy (F/C) and Jermaine OŽNeal (F/C).

Both Camby and Kidd were cut by the MBA's Meaty Ogres this season after more than a decade of fantasy points production. They will now get a chance to build upon their long fantasy careers in a switch to the Western Conference. Murphy had been a member of the HungerDunkers' team through three seasons, including a championship lineup in 2007/2008 (19 games, 20.16 fppg), while O'Neal was a free agent pickup earlier this season (4 games, 20.75 fppg).

Great! We may not have a developmental league to send our youngsters to. But now the Meaty Ogres have their own phase-out team. How cool is that?

What the ....? That's a blatant attempt at franchise rights infringement. A lawsuit is in the works, and a complaint has been sent to the MBA Commissioner.

Dear HungerDunkers

I know we signed ex-HungerDunkers' Gerald Wallace and Charlie Villanueva, but this is ridiculous, outright stealing from the Meaty Ogres' legend. In addition you owe us for taking over former Ogre Troy Murphy, who went on to kill us in the 2008 MBA Finals.
