With six injured players, including four starters out, the Naughty Koalas needed an emergency signing to complete the required eight player lineup in week 4's fantasy game versus the HungerDunkers. Following league rules, the NBA player with the highest season FP-average not on an MBA fantasy team roster was added to the Koalas' bench.

Up until the NBA games used for week 4's statistics, the highest ranking MBA free agent was center Roy Hibbert (7 NBA games, 18.67 fppg). Hibbert will remain on the Koalas' roster like an ordinary free agent signing. He is not bound by the four-week contract rule, and can be released by the team at any time.
