The Yavapai Swashbucklers have released center Chris Kaman, guard/forward Stephen Jackson and forward/center Brad Miller to reduce to the roster to the 12 player limit.

With no pick in the first round of 2009 MBA Fantasy Draft (traded to the Naughty Koalas), coach 3M chose to stick with 12 roster players on draft day, in effect forfeiting the team's second round draft pick.
