Completing a trade with Ole's Overlords negotiated on the day of the draft, the Meaty Ogres drafted guard Brandon Jennings (sixth overall) with a pick acquired from coach Ole. The Ogres chose to waive guard/forward Ron Artest and forward/center Al Harrington in order to clear roster space for the draft selection.
