Undrafted rookie forward Anthony Randolph has been signed by the Yavapai Swashbucklers only two days before the last game of the regular MBA fantasy season. Randolph passed over by the MBA coaches on fantasy draft day, registering as an undrafted free agent rookie throughout the 2008-2009 MBA season.

Randolph became the seventh undrafted rookie to be signed later as a free agent over the course of the fantasy season, a new high in league history. Previously added free agent rookies count D.J. Augustin (Ogres), Rudy Fernandez, Danilo Gallinari and Eric Gordon (Koalas), Anthony Morrow (HungerDunkers) and Jason Thompson (Swashbucklers).
