MBA fantasy team Meaty Ogres have released guard Maurice Williams as the team's roster exceeded 12 active players in week 11's fantasy game versus the RimRockers. The activation of rookie guard Jerryd Bayless off the injured list forced the release of Williams.

Williams first entered the Ogres' roster as a free agent signing late in 2006/2007. After averaging 16.83 fppg in 12 bench games for the Ogres during 2007/2008, Williams dropped in production this season (5 games, 11.80 fppg).
