Following week 10's fantasy games, the Meaty Ogres released team veteran forward Richard Jefferson and signed free agent guard/forward Josh Howard to a four-week contract (week 11-14).

Howard was cut by the Yavapai Swashbucklers only nine days earlier, and quickly re-enters the MBA fantasy league in a switch to the eastern conference. His MBA career statistics are 64 games with 18.55 fppg on average.

Jefferson was a second round draft pick by the Ogres in the 2001 MBA Fantasy Draft (10th overall). He leaves after eight seasons with solid fantasy career statistics of 93 games (54 starts) and a 17.63 fppg average.
