MBA fantasy team Naughty Koalas have released veteran forward/center Jermaine O'Neal and signed free agent forward/center Mehmet Okur to a four-week contract. Okur will remain on the team's roster until and including at least week 9's fantasy games.

O'Neal leaves the Koalas after 10 fantasy seasons, first entering the team as a free agent pickup during 1999/2000. His MBA career statistics are 129 games (102 starts) with a 19.87 fppg average including 18.1 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 2.3 bpg. His career FP total of 2325 FP ranks him sixth among Koalas' players all time and he is one of only six players to start more than 100 games for the fantasy franchise.

Okur became a free agent in the offseason after having spent five seasons with Ole's Overlords. His MBA career stats are 64 games with a 17.72 fppg average.
