RIMROCKERS CUT MILICIC AND BEN GORDON, DRAFT BEASLEY
With second overall pick in the 2008 MBA Draft, the RimRockers selected forward Michael Beasley. To clear roster space for the draft pick, coach Lauer chose to release forward/center Darko Milicic and guard Ben Gordon.
Milicic was drafted third overall in 2003. He leaves the team after five seasons with subpar MBA career stats of 18 games and 9.56 fppg. Ben Gordon was the second player taken in the 2004 fantasy draft. He enters the league's free agent market with unimpressive career stats of 64 games and a 13.11 fppg average.
