MBA fantasy team Yavapai Swashbucklers have released forward/center Eddy Curry and signed free agent guard/forward Hedo Turkoglu to a four-week contract.

Turkoglu, age 28 and a seven year pro, enters the fantasy league for the first time. He became the second turkish player in MBA league history, following Ole's Overlords' frontline man Mehmet Okur.

Curry was drafted by the Swashbucklers as the second overall pick in the 2001 MBA Fantasy Draft. A highly touted prep-to-pro draft prospect, Curry never lived up to expectations, leaving the Swashbucklers with fantasy career stats of 47 games (20 starts) and a 16.47 fppg average.
