Second year forward Tyrus Thomas has been released by MBA fantasy team Thisted Tigers Basketball. Coach Nils chose to cut Thomas from the fantasy squad as the team's roster exceeded the maximum of twelve active players in week 4's fantasy.

Thomas was drafted sixth overall by the Tigers in 2006, and became the second player selected in the 2006 MBA Draft's first round to be waived in the league (Koalas' Shelden Williams). Thomas was DNP for the Tigers in 2007/2008 and appeared in a single game as a rookie for 3.5 bench FP.
