Free agent forward Drew Gooden has been signed to a four-week contract by MBA fantasy team Yavapai Swashbucklers. He will remain with the team until and including at least week 6's fantasy game.

Gooden was originally drafted by the Swashbucklers in 2002 (third overall). He went on to play with the team for three seasons, registering a 17.37 fppg-average in 41 games and 15 starts, before being waived during the 2005 offseason.

Gooden's last visit in the MBA fantasy league was as a part of Jacob's Basketball Hold in 2005/2006, when he appeared in 10 games for 14.90 fppg.
