With no less than three picks in the first round of the 2007 MBA Draft, the Naughty Koalas had an active night on the draft board.

Coach Mads selected forward/center Al Horford with the third overall pick, and followed up by chosing forward Corey Brewer fifth overall with a draft pick acquired from the Yavapai Swashbucklers in a trade.

The seventh overall pick was used on forward Jeff Green to complete a busy draft night for the team.
