Just two days after being released by the Yavapai Swashbucklers, guard Maurice Williams was signed to a four-week free agent contract by the Meaty Ogres. Williams will be on the Ogres' roster for at least the remainder of the regular MBA fantasy season.

Williams first entered the fantasy league earlier in 2006/2007 as a free agent addition by the Swashbucklers. Through weeks 10 until 17 he registered three games for an unspectacular 11.67 fppg.

Williams is the fourth free agent to enter the Ogres' roster, including current Ogre players Monta Ellis and Gerald Wallace. He also ranks as the 35th free agent to be signed in the MBA league this season.
