Free agent Gerald Wallace has been signed by the Meaty Ogres to a four-week contract spanning weeks 15 through 18. To clear roster space for the Wallace signing, the Meaty Ogres chose to release week 11 free agent signing Mike Bibby. Wallace was also wanted by the Yavapai Swashbucklers, but the Ogres won the coin toss.

Wallace enters his fifth MBA fantasy team despite being only 24 years of age. Having previously played for Ole's Overlords, the RimRockers, HungerDunkers and the Swashbucklers, he has accumulated career fantasy statistics of a modest 9 games and 12.56 fppg unmodified.

League veteran and another MBA journey man, Mike Bibby, was released after the expiration of his four-week contract. For this turn with the Ogres he appeared in two fantasy contests, averaging 8.25 bench FP per game.
