Guard/forward Wally Szczerbiak has been released by MBA fantasy team Yavapai Swashbucklers after five weeks on the team roster. The release was a result of a crowded roster in week 8's fantasy game, as the team reached 13 active players.

Szczerbiak appeared in 4 games (2 starts) for a modest average of 13.25 fppg unmodified in his fourth run with the team. The release thus marked the fourth time he has been cut by the Yavapai Swashbucklers since drafted in 1999.
