Jacob´s Basketball Hold Team Home JBH SIGN BYNUM, WAIVE ROOKIE CARNEY
With week 1 results still under way, Jacob's Basketball Hold moved quickly to sign free agent center Andrew Bynum to a four-week contract spanning week 2 through 5. Bynum was also wanted by the Naughty Koalas, but a coin toss at the MBA office fell JBH's way.

Stil only at age 19, Bynum enters the MBA league for the first time. He went undrafted in 2005, and remained a rookie free agent for the entire 2005/2006 fantasy season.

To clear roster space for the transaction, coach Jacob waived rookie forward Rodney Carney, a second round draft pick. Carney enjoyed less than month on the team roster, and was not in the lineup for week 1's game.
