More roster adjustments took place before WEEK 5. Jacob's Basketball Hold waived guard Jamal Crawford (0 games) and signed free agent guard and MBA journey man Chauncey Billups (career 8 games, 13.4 fppg) as replacement.

Coach Lauer and the RimRockers also put in a bid for Billups, but had to settle with an exchange of centers, releasing Michael Olowokandi after three seasons (17 games, 12.8 fppg) to make room for free agent Erick Dampier.

Dampier was originally drafted by the RimRockers in 1996 (2nd round, 12th overall), but has yet to appear in an MBA fantasy game.

And to round up, the Yavapai Swashbucklers waived their 2002 first round draft pick, forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili (0 games) and signed free agent guard Carlos Arroyo, who enters the MBA for the first time.
