The RimRockers got the second overall pick in the 2026 MBA Lottery and went with guard Darryon Peterson, while later drafting guard Mikel Brown at #8 in the second round. Prior to the draft, the team cleared roster space by releasing Chris Paul, Bennedict Mathurin, Jaime Jacquez, Isaiah Hartenstein, Nicolas Claxton and Mikal Bridges.
