With the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2023 MBA Fantasy Draft, coach Mads and the Naughty Koalas selected forward Sasha Vezenkov. The team also had the rights to the tenth pick in the second round of the draft, but chose to pass on all of the remaining players.
