HUNGERDUNKERS: STACKHOUSE AND THOMAS RELEASED
In WEEK 16 the HungerDunkers' roster reached 14 active players, and coach Kenn elected to release Jerry Stackhouse (G/F) and Kurt Thomas (F/C) to the free agent pool.
Stackhouse, who had been on the injury list all season, was originally drafted 1st overall in the 1995 MBA fantasy draft by the HungerDunkers.
Except for a 1999 offseason as a free agent, Stackhouse's career with the team stretches over 9 seasons, and includes 123 games (81 starts) with a 16.18 FP/game average unmodified.
His career effective total of 1672 FP ranks fourth on the HungerDunkers all time franchise list among 55 players.
Thomas was a free agent pickup by coach Kenn in WEEK 6 this season, and leaves the team after contributing a modest 13,5 FP in just 2 appearances.
