The top two teams in the league standings, Jacob's Basketball Hold and Thisted Tigers Basketball, both went after free agent Jerry Stackhouse, who was waived only three days earlier by the HungerDunkers.

A coin toss by the MBA Commissioner dropped in favour of the Tigers however, and coach Nils was able to add the veteran fantasy guard/forward to the roster in preparation for the upcoming 2004 fantasy playoffs.

Hampered by injury since the opening tipoff, Stackhouse has yet to play in the 2003/2004 MBA season.

In 2002/2003 he averaged 16.38 fppg unmodified in 16 games for the HungerDunkers.
