With the fifth overall pick on the clock in the 2018 MBA Draft, the Meaty Ogres completed a trade with the RimRockers exchanging draft picks and players. The Meaty Ogres traded the fifth pick along with guard C.J. McCollum to the RimRockers in exchange for the sixth pick and guard/forward DeMar DeRozan.

The Yavapai Swashbucklers selected forward Jaren Jackson with the fourth pick overall in the first round of the 2018 MBA Fantasy Draft. Coach 3M also drafted guard Collin Sexton with the 11th overall pick in the second round.

Højbjerg Tigers hosted the 2018 MBA Draft event and went with guard Luka Doncic for the third overall pick. Coach Jesper also added forward Troy Brown in the second round (12th overall).
