Utah will break out in the west. The catalyst is Deron Williams who will take it to the next level, AK47 is healthy and Boozer/Okur will provide all kinds of matchup problems. They will take it to game 7 of the west semis, and AK47 will be a reserve in the all-star game. Spurs will burn out just before the playoffs and so will Steve Nash in Phoenix. Clippers and Mavs will wrap it up in the conference finals. Mavs in 7.
The Wizards will surprise in the east. Their combination of depth and athleticism will take them to the conference finals. The Bucks will be a force as well and will eliminate a first or second seed on their way to the conference finals. Bucks in six. Miami and Detroit will self destruct due to injuries to key players and fragile chemistry. Indiana will dominate the regular season, but will slip in the second round of the playoffs. Danny Granger will have a breakout year.
The MBA surprise is the Koalas who'll turn out to be much further in their rebuilding process than expected. The irony is that this will seriously hurt their position in the attractive 2007 draft. The Meaty Ogres will squeeze the last out of their aging roster and return to the finals.

Even more bold predictions:
Al Jefferson will, at some point, be released by Swashbucklers.
Swashbucklers will sign free agents during the 2006-07 MBA season.
Swashbucklers will draft Greg Oden in 2007 MBA draft.
SWISH !!! Three for three already.
New Orleans Hornets will make playoffs in tough western conf.
New York Knicks will not make the playoffs but Atlanta Hawks will.
Ron Artest will not shoot above .42 in FG%.
Charlie Villanueva and Kevin Martin will battle for most improved player award.
Brandon will win ROY with Rudy Gay as runner up.
Phoenix Suns will be NBA Champs 2006-07 edging out New Jersey Nets (very bold prediction).
These players will improve in MBA:
HUNGERDUNKERS: Lamar Odom will avg. 22-24 FP and Charlie Villanueva will be in the mix as a solid bench player.
MEATY OGRES: Richard Jefferson is ready to have a full season with +20 FP avg. (for the first time).
JACOB´S BASKETBALL HOLD: Andre Iguodala will improve and help the bench with a loaded stat sheet.
OLE´S OVERLORDS: Josh Smith, a super FA signing, and Joe Jonhson will both help Overlords to a better season FP avg.
NAUGHTY KOALAS: A very nice threesome in Raymond Felton, Kirk Hinrich and Jameer Nelson - that will keep the Koala owner smiling. They shall be known as the OREOS !!!
RIMROCKERS: Dwight Howard and Chris Paul are franchise players that only gets better and better...but they won't make Tyson Chandler any better though.
YAVAPAI SWASHBUCKLERS: This team is young and (over)loaded with semi-good FP players yet they all have a legit shot to score more FP. Potentially that is. Melo leads the pack and should be a lock to do so.
THISTED TIGERS BASKETBALL: This is the hardest roster to predict; they're so good already. One guy that jumps out is Boris Diaw. Diaw is triple-double threat on any given night.

Other bold predictions:
Darko Milicic will take a step back, and will soon be cut by most fantasy teams, except for the RimRockers of course!
Jarrett Jack will play 35+ mpg at point for the Blazers and enter the MBA league during the season.
Darius Miles will be the odd man out in Portland, and demand a trade. Buyers will be hard to find!
Surprising Atlanta will win 40 games and only just miss the playoffs.
Pacers will struggle to sub-.500 record én route to a first round playoffs exit. JO will whine.
Rockets will fail to slowball their way to more ugly wins, and lose patience with Van Gundy.
Finals: Spurs 4-2 versus Heat (not a very bold prediction)
