Ersan Ilyasova, Marcus Morris and Adonis Thomas all left Saturday's scrimmage with various injuries, forcing head coach Stan Van Gundy to cut the Pistons' open-to-the-public practice at The Palace of Auburn Hills short:
"It was either end the scrimmage with 36 seconds or I had to play," Van Gundy said. "We decided to go with ending the scrimmage. But I'll tell you, my stance is really good. I just don't know if I can move out of it."

After winning the 2016 MBA Lottery, the RimRockers drafted forward Ben Simmons with the top pick in the 2016 MBA Draft. To make room on the fantasy team roster, coach Laur chose to waive RimRocker veteran Zachary Randolph along with Willie Cauley-Stein and Deron Williams.

Tigers draft Ingram, Murray and Baldwin, cut Wade, Chandler and Porter
Coach Jesper of the Tigers went three deep in the 2016 MBA Draft, selecting Brandon Ingram second overall, Jamal Murray ninth overall in the second round and Wade Baldwin 11th overall in the third round. Before the draft, the Tigers released veterans Dwyane Wade and Tyson Chandler along with Otto Porter.

Dunn and Chriss drafted by Swashbucklers, four players waived
With two picks in the first round of the 2016 MBA Draft, Yavapai Swashbucklers chose to add Kris Dunn (third pick) and Marquese Chriss (seventh pick) to the fantasy team roster. The seventh pick was acquired from JBH in return for the Swashbucklers' second round pick to complete a trade dating back to the previous season. Coach 3M waived four players before the draft in order to clear up the roster, releasing Bobby Portis, Greg Monroe, Gorgui Dieng and Jrue Holiday.

The Naughty Koalas selected forward Dario Saric with the fourth pick in the 2016 MBA Draft. Prior to the draft, coach Mads chose to part ways with Al Jefferson, Nikola Mirotic and Alex Len in order to clear room on the roster for a rookie addition.
